WHO WE ARE
Max Schroepfer
Max started his career as an engineer on the railways, where he had to travel and stay away from home. He then had the opportunity to work at London Array from near the beginning of the project, and continued there for 6 years. This is where he met travelling technicians that were not happy with their accommodation. Our business was born out of lots of discussions with them.
Max says:
‘There was no need for my work friends to be living in inadequate lodgings. I wanted to provide a home for them so they could relax and unwind during their rest hours. With the type of work we were doing, a good rest is very important.’
Louisa Schroepfer
Louisa is a firefighter for Kent Fire & Rescue Service, based at Ramsgate fire station. Previously, she travelled and stayed away from home, working shifts during her 14 years service in London Fire Brigade.
Louisa says:
’I enjoy giving the travelling professionals a comfortable & restful stay in Ramsgate. I understand what it is like to be away from home, and I want to make it as easy & relaxing as possible for them.’
